This is, I suppose, stretching "General Audio" somewhat but I'm sure someone here can help.

I have recently been approached by a vinyl pressing plant and offered a rather good deal (500 black 12"/5 tracks/sleeves), £450 total.

Now, as tempting as it is, I really don't want another 500 12" in my house. What I really need to know is how to distribute them. I know there are a few 'big' distributors up in Glasgow, but I don't know what to do, or how they work.
Do they pay us per record? Do they charge a commission? Can I just approach them?
Would I first have to register a company? (ie Anima Recordings LTD)

I'm not looking to make any money, but I'd be absolutely delighted if I could at least cover my costs.
