Hello.
It's been a long time since we had one of these pretty much useless topic in Off-Topic, so here it goes:
http://www.frappr.com/hydrogenaudioIt's an interesting concept: each member adds his name and location to the form, and soon we'll have a map punctuated by members

Have fun!
Regards;
Roberto.

Excellent idea Roberto.
This should make interesting viewing.
Awesome idea, Roberto!
This really needs to get on the portal or something so everybody can see it. I'll be expecting at least 20,000 dots on the map by tomorrow.
@kjoonlee: Looking pretty lonely out there
Thats bob on

Look for my lovely avatar in Gloucester, UK

It's a pity, too. Antarctica must take up 1/4 of Earth's surface, judging from the map!

It probably looks like that because of the problems with casting sphere's surface onto a rectangular plane - you can do that either with distances being intact, or angles being intact. I guess the map on Froggle is the second case, where angles are like they are in reality but distances got altered.

I'm in, you should try to get into the US when the terror alert level color rises, belive me, being a US citizen isn't exactly like having a fastpass at Disneyland, a couple of hours is normal wait time to cross the border.
@rutra80: I am well aware of that. It was a joke.

I've been thinking about just that for years - for some mystical reason, the most interesting and special people always tend to come from far away. Problem is: relocating to a different area doesn't change it, so i asume whenever i relocate, all the others relocate as well.

Not working for me at the moment. (No images are showing on the map, but I suppose the page is working. It's just pretty incomprehensible because of the lack of graphics.)

Never mind. Works now. Had to enable the "Allow javascript to change images" which I think is off by default.
