Can someone tell me why the 2-pass option is grayed out in both converter and dMC Auxiliary Input? Everything else seems to work fine.

Thanks

Says the help file:

"2 Pass allows WMA to compress with even more quality, by first skimming the file and noting down where extra effort is required, this option is only available if the Power Pack installed."

Does the 2-pass encoding really help quality (at lower bit rate like 64kbps)? I tried to encode some songs 64kbps VBR 2 pass and 1 pass, I'm not sure if I can hear the difference.

2 pass only works to impove quality if you have a set size you want to obtain
