All of a sudden all my audio tracks wav, lossy and lossless have a hissing sound in the background! For some strange reason, no hiss is present when playing wav and mp3s in windows media player.
The hissing just started about half an hour ago
Anyone know what the problem could be.

I uninstalled the last few applications I installed today which seems to have fixed the problem. The programs were

Any one know which one of the software programs could have caused the problem?

its total recorder obviously, this has been documented and FAQ'd before
