Is it possible to use that headphone controllers that minidiscs use in psp?I checked but it has a 3pin slot not a 4pin that minidisc ones use.

Would it be possible to connect a 4pin one to the 3pin slot or will there ever be a headphone controller for psp?

I mean other than that uncool one sony provides.I wish there was one with that blue led display.

No. Minidisc controllers just attach resistors between the pins but the psp one has a microcontroller.

It is possible but I doubt it will ever happen. Most of the third party accesories out there for the PSP are cases, batteries, and chargers (both AC and car adapter). You can also plug any headphones in as long as they use the standard jack. However, Sony makes a wired remote. Since they make it, I doubt they will open up 3rd party wired remote production. It would be like Ford allowing the 2006 Mustang Engine to be put in a Dogde Neon.

Sony might open 3rd party wired remote production but I doubt it.
