I haven't been able to figure out how to get foobar to play files in random or shuffled order. Under playback> Order menu I have it set to random, but it doesnt seem to work. Is there something I am missing, or do I need a plugin. oh and i am using column ui.

mods remove this post please, I just realized that it shuffles when it goes from song to song at the end of a song, I am just used to having it shuffle when i press the next button too, as i am a former winamp user. Then I realized that i have to push the random next button instead.

oh yeah, props to everyone who makes plugins and helps with foobar, this is an awesome program, just hard to get used to configuring it at first.

Also, with the foobar .9 beta, there's 3 new shuffle modes. Shuffle (track), shuffle (album), and shuffle (directory). These work like Winamp's shuffle mode, where you can next and previous through the shuffled music.
