Ok,
Is there anything out there that isn't RazorLame (because of it's balking at strange error codes returned by newer versions of LAME, thereby making the 'delete source' completely useless), All2Lame (which doesn't delete source) or an entire player (foobar) that has the 'delete source' feature. I'm still using Razorlame at the moment because it's what I'm used to but I really want to use the more recent versions of LAME and not have to be there at the end of encoding to manually delete the source WAV files. Any suggestions would be most appreciated...

dBPowerAMP Music Converter with the mp3LAME CLI codec, or for just quick 'n' dirty WAV-to-MP3 (no tagging, no other supported input formats), LameDrop from Rarewares'
MP3 page. With either one, you point it to whatever version of the lame.exe that you have, and they both have an option to delete source files.

Get the latest AdvaLame which comes with 3.97b1 and doesn't return errors. Its the successor to RazorLame and has pretty much the same interface.
Unfortunately the distributing website has a spyware installer which you have to say "No" to. The actual AdvaLame package itself is unaffected.

You might just need the newest version of RazorLame.dat....
http://www.dors.de/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=1...highlight=#1743You could also try MultiFrontend. Looks the same as All2Lame and has the 'delete source files' checkbox....

http://members.home.nl/w.speek/Thank You very much for your help! Bec I was thinking to go back to basics in audio encoding searching for open source stuffs and there I have it.
Thank You!
One more option that hasn't been mentioned yet is LameDropXPd.
It has an option to delete the input file as well.
You can find it on
RareWares.org , as usual.

Multi Frontend.
It's by the same beloved author as ALL2LAME.
It has the "Delete input file" option, but it's missing the "gapless encoding" option.

In which when using LAME 3.97b2, the gapless encoding mode isn't necessary anymore; it's gapless by default.
So, Multi-frontend is now the better option than ALL2LAME, imho.
