When trying to use the asio output plugin with my waveterminal u24 I get no sound and the following error message:
INFO (foo_output_asio(dll)) : open : 44100 Hz, LINEAR PCM, 16 bits, 2 channels
ERROR (foo_output_asio(dll)) : too many channels.
Any suggestions how to make it work?

Ok, - found the solution: wrong version of the asio plugin. It seems that my processor (Pentium) is not considered "normal" but "SSE". Would have been easear to find out if I could understand japanese ...
life can be so hard, but the asio driver are worth the hussle...
