It looks like Roxio has a new major version of Easy Media Creator out for PC's that purportedly supports FLAC. We know their Toast 7 Titanium for Mac supports FLAC thoroughly (see seprarate thread on that topic), but I was a bit disappointed with Easy Media Creator 7.5 for PC's limited FLAC support.
Here is a link to their new version 8 spec's that claim FLAC (and Ogg Vorbis) support for audio input and output in their app:

Can anyone test Easy Media Creator 8 to see if you can import FLAC files directly to make an Audio CD, and also to see if you can export audio CD tracks to FLAC audio files from within Easy Media Creator 8? I switched to a Mac with Toast 7 Titanium and that product supports FLAC natively very well.
Josh Coalson (FLAC's developer) added Easy Media Creator 7.5 (PC version) to his list of supporting apps, but we soon found out that FLAC support was limited in version 7.5 and the link was yanked from the FLAC site.
Hopefully with 8.0 Josh can add a link for PC users if Easy Media Creator 8 truly supports FLAC natively for Audio CD creation and ripping (export). I know a few people complained to Roxio about 7.5's limited FLAC support, so hopefully they added better FLAC support in their PC burning product.
Now if only Nero 6/7 had native FLAC support for export and import, and for Audio CD creation, instead of people having to download an old FLAC 1.1.0 (and buggy) 3rd party filter... One can only dream and hope.
