i'm currently very happy using foobar2000 0.8.3 in linux under wine, the 0.9b doesn't really work. i've stumbled upon few alac files that i got from a friend that foo_alac 0.0.2 (the latest version for foo 0.8 i could find) doesn't playback - i guess they're encoded with a newer version of itunes or sth...

this is most probably solved with the updated foo_alac component in 0.9b, but that won't work for me under wine unfortunately. is there any chance of someone pointing me to a home-brew working version, a new version that i somehow didn't notice or a backport from 0.9b? thanks in advance, much appreciated, the only thing i can do atm is decoding to wav via mplayer and then encoding to flac or whatever. i don't have to mention that the tags go to /dev/null and that it's not as comfortable as doing it with foobars Convert..., do i?
cheers!
ps. yes i suck at writing forum posts.
