Adding mpc to XMBC would be killer! XMBP is not really updated anymore and frankly, quite buggy.

Probably just me, but apart from a lack of some features, i think that xbmp is more stable than xbmc. In xbmc i get random crashes, and the seeking and interface when playing video files is inferiour in design!

Let's just port Foobar2000 to everything. PDA, XBox, PS2 ( I own one, can we start here smile.gif )

We could save a lot of time and have a great player.

(Yes, I know, it isn't practical due to the programming language Foobar2000 uses. But I can dream)

Erm? What is wrong with C++?

As I think that Peter uses Visual C++ for foobar, it won't be easy to port it to any other platform than win32. We have a similar situation with eMule, the Microsoft classes are just too sweet to not use them :/
Anyway good luck if you go for it.

C++ rocks, it's that nasty M$ windows thing smile.gif
