Full Version: foo_flac.dll v1.1.2 for Foobar 0.9b10?

I've just installed foobar200 v.0.9 beta 10.

I've got a playlist that has some FLAC files. When I loaded foobar, foo_flac.dll and foo_flaccer.dll failed to load.

In Components the FLAC decoder is listed as 1.1.0 - I'm using FLAC 1.1.2 to compress my files - could this be the cause of the "fail to load" problem?

Are there updated DLLs somewhere?

[Yes I'm a Foobar newbie, but weren't we all once?]

Thanks,

Don't install 0.9 over 0.8. Components for 0.8 are not compatible with 0.9.

Just use foobar2000 0.9 as is, please. You'll be able to decode FLAC without any external plugins. As for encoding, you'll have to use the Converter with an external compressor such as flac.exe.
