Full Version: Stupid Question - How To Make Playlist Larger?
Hydrogenaudio Forums > Misc. > Off-Topic

I have seen in countless pictures a Winamp playlist about 3-4 times larger than the normal one that only shows 4 songs.
I do not know how to do this sad.gif
I have looked everywhere in the options
Care to tell me?
Thanks
JEN
Its very simple, take your mouse to the bottom right corner of your playlist and drag to your desired size smile.gif

click with the mouse on the bottom-right-corner (does it get written that way? dry.gif)
of the Playlist and drag the window untill it fits your needs.
Jan S.
Hold down left mouse key on the right-buttom corner of the playlist and stretch the playlist to the size you like.

biggrin.gif this is so funny, three similar answers. OK i just HAVE to write one as well..

All you need to do is place your mouse pointer on the bottom-right corner of the playlist window, click it, and drag it to reach the desired size.

Hmm, strange.
When i try to do this warning message pops up:
"Are you sure you want to enlarge this window?".
Then when i press Yes it says:
"Windows will now apply your new window settings. This will take a few seconds, during which time your screen may flicker. If your new settings are not applied correctly, your original settings will be automatically restored in 15 seconds."
And then my machine spontaneously restarts. So what am i doing wrong?

Im just trying to find out whats going wrong with your winamp. Can you please tell me the following:

Which Operating system you use?

winamp version?

screen resolution?

did you press and hold the left mouse button while dragging the bottom left corner of the playlist?

any other info which you think might help?
ak
Well i think that playlist window size was optimized for default value. And changing hardcoded size is just a hack, that's why it doesn't always work.
It's like 60Hz at the boot: you can try --noguiboot but in this case you won't see any warnings or messages, if there are any.
JEN
hmm

Iv always been able to resize winamp2 without any problems, Just like anyother windows window!

Its a straight download from winamp without any extras.

@ ak

are you trying to set a higher screen resolution? i'm confused.

I know it's stupid* to give a stupid* answer on a stupid* question.
Altough the question it's not as stupid* as my answer.
But don't tell me you took it serious. Cmon, it is obvious nonsense.
Even if i forgot to put a smiley after every word. smile.gif
