Using lame 3.97b & EAC
Compression Options ->External Compression
I have chosen for ,'Parameter Passing scheme' - User Defined Encoder
there are additional 'Lame' commandline options filled in the commandline box.
My question is,.. Can the Filename of the resulting .MP3 be made different from the
extracted .wave file or,... is this not possible. ?
i.e. %S & %D now always have the same filename.
so whatever i set in EAC Options->Filename TAB for the
extracted .wav file, ultimately defines the name of my .mp3.

anyway of changing the filename of the output file so that its diff from %S ?

ticking the ID3 tag option has no effect in EAC with the 'User Defined encoder' setup.
so all the stuff on the ID3 tag TAB seem to be of no effect.

anyway i'd rather use the lame commandline options.

so is there anyway this can be achieved ?

Thanks...!

Have you tried using REACT?

thanks!
that sounds like a great add-on. - will try it out

i don't think what i asked is possible atm in anyway with the basic 'User defined encoder' setup i described above.

would appreciate any other feedback on this

thanks
