freedb tagging really makes some trouble here. sometimes it does not do anything at all when i select the mp3s of an album and select "freedb" -> "Get tags".

sometimes my mp3s are tagged correctly using mp3tag (www.mp3tag.de) and foobar just shows the filename without extension in the title column. in most cases, i can select freedb and then it writes the tags itself and can reads them. i don't know why...

any help would be nice.

I have found that the tracks must be in the correct order for freedb to correctly detect the album. You can see if freedb has failed by looking at the console output.
