I got a real good deal on this off of ebay. It didn't come with a manual though crying.gif I can't seem to find them online (except for a service manual, which probably won't help me...)

I want to convert VHS tapes to DVD and bought this to get better audio and video quality... however I don't know how to use it. Anyone know where the audio and video plugs in the back are? I will post a picture of it when I get home in about 9 hours but was going to ask if anyone can suggest something in the meantime...

Thanks

Alex

You probably won't get better audio or video because you can't convert a VHS tape to S-VHS and expect to get better results (GIGO). I made this conversion a few years ago but have forgotten just how to do it. Suggest you get the instructions for your sound card and download a trial version of Nero StartSmart. Of course, you'll also need a DVD burner. I recently bought a Panasonic DVD burner that has a hard drive in it. I was easy to plug the VHS player into it and record, edit and burn DVDs of the VHS tapes.

Heh. Funny how a Google search for "AG-7500A" returns this very same topic as the first result.

Anyho, have you tried looking at the manual for the next model up/down? A lot of times the products are very similar and you can figure out how they work that way. Have a look at this page. Maybe this works? The device looks similar to the one you bought.
