Hello there,

I've been using foobar2000 for 3 months now, and I think it really rocks. It's lightweight, and has all the functions I need. I've been tweaking most of the settings (added Toaster plug-in, tweaked window titles and customizing the interface) and foobar now is just the way I like it.

I read a new version will be coming out soon, and of course I'd like to update. Is there any way to do this without breaking my settings ? I have the Columns UI and the Toaster plug-in enabled, and I used the special installer to install Foobar.

Thanks in advance,

Forceflow

Unlikely. The most you could do is copy and paste your old strings over to the new foobar (e.g. have the old and new version open at the same time)

But this is really a question for when 0.9 is actually released.

Who knows, someone in the future may code a transistion plugin or program but I wouldn't bet on it.
