I'm trying to backup all my cds onto my computer by using WACK/REACT to make both a wavpack image of the cd and mp3 tracks. So far, neither programs have worked.

WACK gives me this error when EAC calls it:

QUOTE
Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.

Process id=0x5ac (1452), Thread id=0x40c (1036).

Click OK to terminate the application.
Click CANCEL to debug the application.

And REACT doesnt even work. EAC will rip the image just fine but then nothing happens.

Im using EAC v.95b3
lame v3.97b1
wavpack v4.3
Windows XPsp2
The latest versions of react and wack

Yes i have the .NET framework installed (for wack). Ive tried it with 1.1 and even updated it to 2.0 and WACK still gave me the same error.

Ive double and triple checked all the INI files and made sure everything has the correct path and such.

Can anyone either help me with either program?

I would post the WACK problem to the WACK thread (which I think you may have already) and the REACT problem to the REACT thread.

Trying to tackle both in one thread may seem a little daunting for many people! smile.gif

I looks to me like ponchorage is already being more than helpful in the WACK thread.

With regard to REACT, we will need to see the relevant parts of your INI (the initial section and the section you are then running).
