Full Version: Getting my Foobar to look like this

I have been trying to get my Foobar to look like all the ones I have seen on the galleries etc.

Despite downloading all these plugins and importing .fcs files... it doesnt seem to make it anything like that.

I have read as much documentation as I am able to... but I am a 4th year University Student.. so I really dont have any time to really study everything.

Is there some generic formula or sequence of tasks I am missing?

I would absolutely love to get Foobar to look like this:

I know Im asking for a quick fix.. and I do apologise for it.. but if someone could please tell me how to get the above setup.. I would be very grateful.

Your link wasn't to a specific post, just a gallery page. Let us know which one, and then post a screenshot of what you get when you try to load that .fcs; otherwise we can't know where it went wrong.

Also, what version of FB and Columns UI?

Sorry mate.

Post 26.

Im running 0.8.3 and 012 Colums UI.

Here is what it looks like.

It doesnt have to look exactly like Post 26. But Id really like the album art and the database / library thing on the right hand side at least.

Cheers.

Looks like it worked perfectly.

To add album art, read these tutorials.

[update: looks like he has the album art in the status bar, not the sidebar, so put it there, and don't forget to set the minimum height for the panel in its settings]

You'll follow the same procedure to add the database of songs. I think he's using Album List Panel, but I'm not sure.
