I just purchased a Sony DVPNS70H and have connected it via HDMI. It seems to work fine set at 1080i however the picture is stretched a bit. Not as much as I've usually seen when switching 480i to 480p but enough to be annoying. I got into the service menu and tinkered with the settings to correct it some but there has to be an easier way.
