should look like that, and get here a few days before x-mas itself.

I had to pay for $500 of it, and it should be here a day or two before X-mas (so I wont have too much of an urge to tear it open before I should). I've been debating getting a laptop for a while, so it's about time !

Very nice, I like the specifications although I would upgrade to 1GB Ram. I also like the color.

As I sit at my 2 year old desktop PC I wish I had instead gotten a laptop for the ability to be mobile and not stuck in one spot.

Adobe Software Adobe® Acrobat® Reader 6.0

A good unbloated, faster loading replacement is Foxit PDF Reader.

I've never tried it however there's a freeware one called Open Office.

Oh, I actually already have a copy of Office XP, that's why I didn't purchase it.

And adobe reader is ok, but i'll check out the other app when i get my laptop smile.gif

not by much AFAIK, it's not really noticeable at gaming. besides, you would not want a faster HD because of power consumption.

=) ... not only a technicall diference. at the very basic, most of the time, freeware is only free for personal "non comercial" use. there is no such a problem with open source.
Andavari
Yeah it's a big difference between open source and freeware. You're quoting had me a bit confused at first, however I figured it out.
kwanbis
fixed it.

I don't either, especially after buying it and all when I got my XP system a couple of years ago. However, I must admit had I known anything about Open Office I would have instead used it, and saved some $300 dollars.
