Maybe this is a dumb question, and maybe it's in the wrong place, but here goes:
If you are an amateur graphic artist, you've got deviantart.com as a well-known outlet for your talents. For writing, you can choose something like myspace.com, or blogspot, or a ton of other options.
What if you're an "audio content creator"? Is there a recognized grass-roots community for sharing your bits and pieces online? It seems like every day I come up with sound effects, samples, snippets of songs, loops, and that kind of thing. I'd love to find a community for that, and I'd also love to be able to hear (and possibly use) things that other like-minded artists have done.
Is there an obvious place online, and I just missed it?
