in sony soundforge 7 i could select my soundcard (audigy2) in the input settings for line in recordings for my lp-cd conversions.
in sony soundforge 8 the only thing available is microsoft wave mapper or creative asio.
if i use microsoft wave mapper the sound coming from the speakers during recording sounds echo-e like in a goldfish bowl.
if i select creative asio or anything else no recording takes place and error messages throw up.
i'd like to use version 8 but i'm stuck with 7.
does anyone know of a workround so i can select my soundcard in version 8 ??? sad.gif
outscape
why not just email sony and ask them? blink.gif

The support forums on the Sony website are excellent. Probably best to ask there.
