I renamed each track after i encoded them in CDeX using OGG aoTuV b4 but after i put tehm on the G3 the tracks show up as listed in teh tittle. What gives?

You renamed filenames, but tags inside files are still CDex' default "Audiotrack ##" and iAudio default behaviour is to read names from tags.
Use a tag editor to correct them or look into player configuration to display filenames instead of tags.

And in the future change song names inside CDex, before encoding (you can just use cddb import option).

Correct, changing the file name does not automatically update your tags. Now if your field didn't have any tags...your player will just show the filename (w/o extension most-likely).
