Is there a command line ID3V2 tagger for windows. I found a few projects in sourceforge for linux and other unix flavours. Is there a Windows binary?

Tag.exe will read ID3v2, but not write it.

ID3 mass tagger will.

Edit: Fixed link (thanks kindofblue)

Synthetic Soul: there's something wrong with the link you posted. Looks like a typo or something. I was able to grab it from this link instead: http://home.wanadoo.nl/squell/id3.html

Cheers,

No problem. One question though: I can't seem to get ID3 mass tagger to get tags based on filenames using Batchenc, which uses <infile> instead of the FILESPEC that ID3 seems to require (e.g. "* - *.mp3"). I wonder if you'd have some ideas, by any chance? Or perhaps you can tell me how you use ID3 yourself. Do you use a GUI of some kind or a batch file?

I'm sorry, I don't actually use ID3.EXE - I just know it to be an ID3v2 tagger.
