Well, this is my setup. How would you rate the quality? Does it "suck", is it "OK", or is it "pretty good" (doubt this one). Of course this is all opinions so no hard feelings. I'm a struggling college student so don't be surprised if you [i]don't[/u] see ANY hi-fi equipment...
Computer setup:
Winamp/Foobar2k -> Chaintech AV-710 soundcard -> 2-channel hi-sample-rate analog out -> Klipsche ProMedia 2.1 speakers
As far as winamp/foobar is concerned, they're both the same as I haven't configured any types of options like over-sampling / kernel streaming and what not.
Portable Setup:
1) Rio Karma -> headphone-out -> Pocket Amp V2 (PAV2) -> Sennheiser HD-280pro
2) replace Rio Karma & headphone out with iAudio Cowon X5 -> line out
Cables & such...all Radioshack. I'm not audiophilic enough to distinguish generic 'ol Radioshack cable from Super Duper Interconnect 2000.

What do you think? What could be my next upgrade? What's my "weakest" link so far? I'm new, I'm an audiophile-wannabe, but still can't distinguish 192kbs cbr mp3 from CD quality. Some say it's my equipment.....which is why I need to know where I "stand"? Well?
(As far as my quality of music, all of it is encoded to OGG Q6; whether it be from a physical CD or downloaded from an MP3 of quality greather than 192kbs
