My current network setup consists of a cable modem, a router, and 2 PCs. The cable modem is connected to a Dlink 714P+ wireless router via the ethernet port. The router then broadcasts the signal to the PCs, which are equipped with wireless network adapters (PCI).
Now, I'm about to switch to another ISP. My current service is cable based, and the new one will be ADSL2+ based, which offers much more competitive speeds at lower prices. My router can be easily configured to operate on ADSL networks, it can even dial-up. The problem is the modem the new ISP provides is actually a modem/router (which is kinda strange, as it only comes with an ethernet port and an usb port - website here). Anyway, what I'd like to know is if my current equipment will do the job, or if I'll have to acquire an access point, or something similar, to get a wireless network running.
Thanks in advance
