I have downloaded a fan's Karaoke demo MP3 of few songs from one band.
I want to plug my "semi-professional" microphone Keen AL-689 plug into my soundcard SoundStorm which is integrated to my motherboard (with nForce 2 chipset) EpoX EP-8RDA+ and record vocals to that song if possibe by the most easiest way.
Best would be if my speakers can be used as monitors and of course synchronized with the MP3 track with music.
I you want to suggest me some easy to use program to capture my vocals and maybe and suggestion how I can take advantage of my integrated sound card, if there are any.

I have a Steinberg Cubase VST32 5 (R4) installed on my PC but unfortunately I really don't have any clue how to make it work because I'm a newbie to that program.
I'm hopeless also with the choice of drivers and their ability to communicate with the program with low ASIO latency.

Sorry, for the double post in General Audio section but I really don't know if my topic fits better here or in General Audio / General A/V / General Music Discussion.
