Nothings's wrong with userbars. I don't use 'em, but they seem pretty popular these days, and I've seen some nice ones, including the one above.
As for the trolls in this thread, I got a kick out of the guy with ten posts saying "userbars are for n00bs..."

I don't see aproblem either, but we don't have to worry about it here, HA.org has formating on the signatures disabled.

I would like to think that the kind of person who would use foobar would be above using userbars, but there you go.
Wouldnt use one personally but thats because I prefer not to faff around with my forum entries. I see too many that are like big flashin billboards from the likes of Back To The Future Part 2
