Apologies for the presumptively naive question: I'm using foobar2000 v0.9 beta 13 and want to use it for audiofile-conversion (flac to mp3). My problem: the conversion settings offer me just one option: write audio-cd.
Why I don't have any diskwriter components?

Did you install any?

That's weird. b13 already comes with presets for various lossy and lossless encoders. When you left-click on a playlist item and choose Convert > Convert to..., do you see the drop-down list of conversion options?

I've used foobar2000_0.9 beta 13.exe for installation, thought conversion-utilities were included? Where can i find conversion components?

I installed everything when prompted by 0.9b13. I can convert to LAME MP3 and have foobar2000 transfer all tags - all I had to do was point it to the location of lame.exe. Hopefully if you try reinstalling and selecting more components your Converter will be properly set up (remember it's been renamed since 0.8.3).
