I want to output a text file list of all unique %composer% + %album% combinations for all the genre=Classical files in my database, that I can paste into , say, Excel. It looks like 'copy name' is the way to go here, but how do I configure the output? I don't see any pertinent config panels in preferences. Currently it only outputs # - %artist% - etc. but not composer tag info.

Or is there a better way than 'copy name' to generate text file lists from foobar databases and playlists?

Preferences > Display > Title formatting > Copy command

There are also the foo_playlist_output + foo_playlist_output_custom plugins for 0.8.3, and new (default) advanced playlist tools in the 0.9 beta, but for what you are doing the default "Copy name" function should be sufficient.

The very thing! Thanks for the directions to the copy command formatting page!
