I'm dropping my Creative Xfi and replacing it with a Chaintech AV710 and I want to replace my speakers at the same time.

What are the best PC speakers in the $125-225 range?

Also, I have a pair of Sennheiser HD650s I use with my PC. Would I be better off dropping speakers entirely and just getting a headphone amp to make the phones sound better?

or perhaps spend $300-350 on a good receiver and decent stereo speakers, and run a digital link to it from your AV710.
