Does anyone know of a program that will allow me to adjust the frequency levels of a song before ripping? I would guess that I am trying to remix or apply eq settings to boost frequencies I cant hear so well.

Why not do it at playback time?? That way you have a "pure" original and can fiddle with the frequencies when you play it back. foobar2000 is good for this. cool.gif

winamp can apply EQ and dsp effects to the output, even when using a diskwriter, so that is one option for you.

Rip to wave then use Goldwave, wavelab, audition or another sound editing program to apply an equalizer. Then, encode.
