QUOTE
The interaction of all spinning discs with the gravitational force produces energy patterns that adversely affect the human being's ability to correctly perceive sound. The energy patterns created are in the frequency range adjacent to the visual energy spectrum and directly affect our cognitive senses. Narrow strips of this revolutionary, adhesive backed foil, neutralise the adverse energy by inverting the energy pattern and therefore restoring it to a naturally occurring environmental pattern.

Using a black magic marker and drawing a big circle on both sides of the cd works even better than using this "Rainbow Electric Foil" wink.gif

I don't find any of Peter Belt's ideas credible.

But it is a good business ide. Produce some cheap crap and sell it for insane prices to those who have too much money to spend...

How I know this guy is delusional:

QUOTE
The final manufacturing process of this Electret Foil involves the induction of a permanent electrical charge.

There is no such thing as a permanent electrical charge. A charged condition is unnatural and will eventually dissapate back to a neautral uncharged state. If there were such thing as a permanent electrical charge don't you think Energiser would be all over it? I mean ther batteries would have an indefinate shelf life! Instead of the typical 4 year shelf life. laugh.gif

QUOTE
Cutting with scissors and attaching it to an object will in no way impair its efficiency.

What if some nitwit cuts it with jagged edges? laugh.gif

QUOTE
Any spinning object such as a vinyl record of Compact Disc interacts with the gravitational force to produce adverse energy patterns.

Um unless we are near a black hole or some other unusual stellar phenomina gravitational forces act at a constant force. Neither increasing or decreasing with wild fluctuations.(Yes there are places on the Earth with denser compositions that can have higher gravitational force than normal. But it does not fluctuate.) Perhaps if the guy was bright enough to mention centripital force he might seem slightly believable. But I would still love to see him explain how that would effect the playback. laugh.gif

QUOTE
It is also advantageous to place a strip of Silver Rainbow Foil specifically over the word 'disc' (part of the Compact Disc symbol).

OMFG! ROTFLMAO! laugh.gif It hurts! Oh God! It hurts! Make it stop! Could this get any more rediculous? Are there any other recomended words that should be covered up? Like "this", "guy", "is", "a", or "nutjob"? laugh.gif

I can just imagine this guy sitting naked wearing a tin-foil pyramid over his head, with butt plugs inserted in his ass to keep the aliens from probing him analy, while sanding the edges of a cd he just pulled out of his "CD freezer" that he is then going to draw lines on with a marker before he plays it.

i was going to go into all the wrong fizix this guy implies, but i think it's pretty clear he doesn't know basic, highschool-level e+m. he resorts to really odd phrases like "energy patterns," that are the hallmark people that know jack sh*t, but want you to think they're smart (or at least buy their sticky tin foil).

one last thing: i'm gonna nit pick and mention that we generally approximate gravity as uniform acceleration, not force. but yeah, you got the basic idea right, though you don't seem to see anything wrong with his saying that gravity acts on an uncharged spinning object, which makes light pop out. that doesn't make any sense to me at all.

hmm. i lied. so basically, once you get through all his retarded psuedo-jargon (psuedo cause he's the only @$$hole that uses it), it's pretty clear that it's nonsense.

QUOTE
The interaction of all spinning discs with the gravitational force produces energy patterns

That's true. However, the most powerful of these patterns, emitted by pair of black holes, roughly 100,000,000,000,000,000,000 times stronger, are still too weak to be detected by any device on earth. Some giant laser interferometers (several km long) are being built in order to detect them.
QUOTE
The energy patterns created are in the frequency range adjacent to the visual energy spectrum

Wrong, they are in the 0.5 Hz range, while visual energy spectrum is in the 600,000,000,000,000 Hz range. Even if they were in the same range, it would be like saying that the spinning speed of the drum of a washing machine is in the same range as the wheel of a car. Therefore washing your clothes creates car accidents.
QUOTE
Narrow strips of this revolutionary, adhesive backed foil, neutralise the adverse energy by inverting the energy pattern

No, on the opposite they increase it by adding mass.

You've seen it, haven't you ?

What can I say? That's simply unbelievable.

Where's the explanation on why I should put the foil over the word "disc"?

I'm really sorry, all I can say, never post when you had 7 beers...

Anyway did you see the FAQ section? A quote from there:

"Question 1
Does it rely on autosuggestion for P.W.B. devices and techniques to work ?
Answer.
No - The devices are actually superimposing a 'friendly' energy pattern on any object which they are attached to.

Question 2
Have the P.W.B. devices had some special treatment ?
Answer.
Yes - The devices have been specially treated to provide 'friendly', 'relaxing' energy patterns."

I'm in my 2nd year of a physics degree, so I have a basic grip on the concepts involved. So to see this, which appears to be written in complete seriousness is quite embarresing really...

QUOTE
We are in the process of introducing some new devices that, when attached to audio equipment, manipulate the equipment into permanent beneficial activity. This is achieved by forcing the equipment into a 'present' space-time status. This prohibits the equipment from communicating any adverse patterns from it's traumatic past.

My speakers convey adverse patterns from their 14 years of trauma... my dad burned the right one's grille with a cigarette, it's never been the same since...

This dude is either on some industrial strength medication, or has a terribly warped grip on reality! smile.gif

Be sure to check out his other revolutionary invetions, like the P.W.B. Red 'x' Co-ordinate Pen and his P.W.B. Cream - Electret.

Maybe he's ROTFL at us, seeing how seriously we read his webpages smile.gif

[note to self]
If a friend ever purchases, attempts to purchase, or asks about this material, slap him or her as hard as possible. Preferably with any heavy, blunt objects that are close at hand.

I think he and Alex Chiu should go bowling sometime.

QUOTE
If the particles are observed, they become independent units of energy. If there is no human observing the experiment, the basic particles appear to communicate with each other and act as a wave.

What happens if my dog walks by? Do pets count as observers?

QUOTE
Our research into the perception of sound can now readily demonstrate the role of the human 'observer' in significantly manipulating the environment. An important feature of the 'double slit' experiment is that the effect of the human observer can be replicated by allowing certain types of electronic detectors to take the place of the actual human.

Well if people and electronics count then it is safe to say Sparky does as well.

QUOTE
The P.W.B. Red 'x' Co-ordinate Pen has been induced with complex messages and when a human writes a message with the Pen, the conditions on the object change in a similar way to the events in the 'double slit' experiment, in which the essential ingredient is the pure energy form of the photons and electrons which readily interact with the human observer. The P.W.B. Red 'x' Co-ordinate Pen possesses the special ingredient of manipulating modern material to form the basic pure energy pattern that readily interacts with the human 'observer'.

The simplest proof of the efficacy of this special pen is to sign your name in the following way on the outside cover of a Compact Disc or vinyl record.

Using your normal signature, you write. e.g.

John Smith > O.K.

So you think if we all took pens and wrote "Sodd off you f!@#ing wanker!" on a piece of paper and sent it to him; would he get the message? laugh.gif

For the benefit of the laypeople the next segment has been altered and simplified.
QUOTE
We know that many people are interested in the scientific implications created by a P.W.B. (SHARPIE)device.(Or so the county mental ward told us) We are therefore supplying, for a limited period, a specially treated self adhesive film with each P.W.B. Red 'x' (SHARPIE)Pen.(They kicked us out of Walmart. Don't worry. Next week we plan to hit Target for more Sharpies and Scotch tape.) When the Red 'x' (SHARPIE)Pen writes on this material, a subliminal message readily understood by any human within its vicinity, is formed on the material.(Property of Bob. You touch you die.) If the written message is attached to the outer surface of an object such as a loudspeaker cabinet or the outer case of any electronic or audio equipment, a significant change to the perceived sound within the listening room will occur.(Backstreet Boys rule!!!!!!!!)

This guy is flat out nuts! Is there someplace where he and his folowers congregate so I can go in and rile them up? I'm sure him and the guys from 100fps.com hang out alot. tongue.gif

Anybody wants a Quantum Clip for U$ 750? laugh.gif

Why no special wallpaper and/or wall paint to enhance the playback quality? Or a universal remote control that improves your hearing ability while you hold it? I'm sure as hell it could work. wink.gif laugh.gif

It's amazing. Just when I think I can't hear anything more ridiculous than the current fad of wearing copper / magnetic bracelets (to channel the body's natural energy to align with the mystical plane of Zetar, of course) someone comes up with something like this.
Reminds me of the saying, "Nobody ever lost money underestimating the intelligence of the average consumer."
I only hope that nobody has actually sent him any money.

If I'm not mistaken, it's at least proper to punctuate your sentences, especially if the site is supposed to be professional.

On top of that, I'm sure that he starts the 21 days as soon as he receives the order, takes his sweet time sending it out, etc. so that by the time it gets returned to him he can say the 21 days have passed.
