I'm trying to transcode a Flac file (single file + cue sheet) to mp3 using foobar. Under the disk writing preferences (output file name formatting) I have entered the following:

QUOTE

%artist%\%album% (%date%)\$num(%tracknumber%,2) - %title%

My goal is to have the following folder structure: artist\album (year)\track number - track title.mp3

The folders are created, however I get the following error after the album title: [SYNTAX ERROR IN FORMATTING STRING]. It appears that the "date" field is not correct.

My cue file does however contain a date field. What am I doing wrong here?
