Wow I just timed the Lancer compiles in preparation to my massive conversion to Low rate (q2). The latest Lancer vorbis compiles are almost 2X times fast. !!

Lancer (based on aoTuVb4.51) 20sec
aoTuVb4.51 37 sec.

This combined with the quality at low rates of aoTuVb4.51 seems to be the winning combination.

The quaility seems to be the same with both encoders, and the file size are identical.

Have anyone noticed any lower quality with the Lancer version.
I'm used to believe that you always trade quality for speed.

Anyhow,
Congratulation guys you have done a super excellent job. biggrin.gif
