I need the ALAC plugin for foobar2000, apparently it exists but I cannot find it. Please send a link if you know, thanks.

foo_alac should be the plugin name. Apple lossless is the format. You can try google or the site search. Or this (google 1st result)

This one crashes when I add an alac file:

crashes when foobar is started.

For now, the mp3tag works, its just foobar is faster and easier to use.

Works fine for me. Can you please post the exact error message or preferably the crashlog?

(And are you sure that you're even trying to use this one with 0.9b13 and not accidentally with 0.8.3? )

Hey, guys. I'm a newbie to this board and wanted to follow up with twntrbv6. I'm trying to find the correct ALAC decoder for v0.9 beta 13.

I found out that v0.9 beta 14 came out and replaced the decoder with the new one (foo_input_alac), which only works with beta 14. Foo_alac won't work, either. Perhaps that works with beta 12? I tried the links that were posted but they are only for the plugins that I just mentioned.

Anyhoo, if anyone knows how I can this plugin I'd greatly appreciate it!

I should probably mention that the reason I want to go back to beta 13 is because I want to use columns ui and there is no columns ui for beta 14 yet... or is there?

While 0.9 is in beta I think you'll only ever find components for the latest beta.

I'm sure Columns UI for b14 will be out soon, so either do without ALAC or Columns UI for now.

Of course some kind soul could upload the b13 version themselves, but this sort of thing is just going to confuse matters. If you are using the beta then you really need to just stick with the latest version. Sticking with an earlier beta is never going to be a good long term strategy.
