Full Version: Short noise at the beginning

I used EAC's "Action -> Copy Image and create CUE-Sheet"-option and made up an image containing a .wav and a .cue-file.
I burned this image with EAC's "Tools -> Write CDR..."-function and when i listen to it with WINAMP, at the beginning of every track is a small short noise. But the loudness and sound of that noise varies - sometimes (rarely) it doesn't appear. When i extract the CD-Tracks with EAC to .wav-files there is no such noise and when i load the long .wav file from the CD-image made with EAC into WINAMP, there is not such noise, too.

1. Is there anything wrong with my copy or is it just a "bug" of Winamp's CD-engine?

2. Would it be better to use the CDRDAO-Engine which comes with the newest EAC-Version? (I've got a Plextor PX-712A, if that helps)

2. The use of cdrdao as external writing engine in EAC is meant for people with drives that aren't supported by EAC's internal writing routines...
