by ripping my cds with WMP using Windows Media Player V9 (Loseless Mode)?

The resulting files will be mathematically lossless. The only issue you might run into is the quality of the rips produced by WMP, i.e. clicks and pops in music that you have extracted. This would generally only be an issue on scratched or badly mastered CD's I would imagine. So in theory you shouldn't really lose any quality.

alright, thanks. everyone swears by eac, and i'd use it, but with foobar i have some tagging issues that i can't figure out... and with wmp it does it the way i want it.

problem with tagging = here if you're knowledgeable about such
