can someone help me understand and experiment with Speex in a better way than my knowledge. I want to change the LPC filter order of the Speex algorithm. Can someone tell me where all places I have to make changes in the code to do so.
Please also tell me how about changing the codebook entries to support the changed order of prediction.
Please help me on this asap

You may get an answer here, but I'd recommend that you raise this on the Speex mailing lists. Jean-Marc monitors that very closely and you'll likely get the right answer rather faster.
