I'm trying to get the playlist view to display the ammount of time elapsed on a playing track, using the string "$if(%_isplaying%,%_time_elapsed% /,) %_LENGTH%" but where it should be returning time elapsed, it returns a '?' does anyone know why it does this, or how to fix it?

That's odd. I copied your code right into my column and it worked fine. Duno what to tell you.

Try checking the box under "Preferences->Display->Show dynamic info (....) in playlist"

edit: added "(...) in playlist"
