HeadLessException
Hi. I want to try writing a foobar plugin but i don't know much about how to get started. I read the tutorials but didn't find the solution to my problem.

I downloaded foo_tutorial1-0.2.zip & the foobar sdk and organized the folders in the proper way

Now my problem is this: when I load the foo_tutorial1.dsw, i can build the solution alright, but how do I compile the freaky thing to get the dll??

When I press debug, it asks 'Please specify the name for the executable file...'

i'm sure it's a simple thing, but i can't find what executable
I really need your help

btw, i'm using vStudio.Net 2003

The executable is of course foobar2000.exe. I find it helpful to copy my entire foobar folder to a temporary testing folder, and set VS to output the DLL to its components directory.

As for foo_tutorial, I haven't downloaded/used that, I just downloaded the SDK, and added a new project to it and set up the dependancies. I was using VC6 however, AFAIK the SDK needs modifications to work with other versions, and I just like VC6 biggrin.gif

I directly use the (debug) output directory for this. I'd suggest removing the user_profiles_enabled file in the test installation, so it will not interfere with your normal installation in case something goes wrong.
