I had "Drive is capable of retrieving C2 error information" checked for a while while ripping some CDs. I just recently found out that I'm not sure if my DVD drives can retrieve C2 error information so I left it unchecked.

Is it bad that I had it checked while ripping a lot of CDs? Did I lose a lot of quality or any quality at all or are the files in any worse of condition?

Probably nothing worry about, especially if your discs are in reasonable shape.

If you are you doing Test & Copy and the CRCs still match you are fine. It certainly adds a nice boost in speed doesn't it? smile.gif

If there were errors on the CDs you ripped that way, they could slip undetected & uncorrected. But as shadowking said - if the rips sound fine, you shouldn't worry.
