Hello,
I wanted to try kernel streaming. I configured FooBar for that purpose, but each time, i get an error:
CODE
ERROR (foo_out_ks) : KS output error: error opening device.
My soundcard device is "Envy24 Family Audio (WDM)"
How can I manage to make KS working?
Note the first time warning when you enable Kernel Streaming. It is an experimental feature. If your soundcard does not handle it properly then simply don't use it. Direct Sound should be just as good so no need to use Kernel Streaming if you don't have a specific reason for it.

PS: DirectSound: If I don't use KS the sound go through the KMixer of Windows and there it is resampled to 48 kHz, so if I resample it in foobar to 48kHz, will it sound better, so that Foobar has a better resampler or doesn't it matter?
Resampling in foobar2000 is only nessecary if your soundcard does not support native 44.1 khz input. AFAIK the Envy handles 44.1 khz input just fine so no need to resample there.
