I'm not sure if I should report this problem to albumart or playlisttree, so I'll present it to both.

When I enable albumart to be controlled by other applications, playlisttree has the ability to send the album art of the selected track in the playlist tree browser to the albumart plugin. However, this behavior is ever present, and even when following the cover art by cursor is disabled, playlisttree will still send the album cover to the albumart plugin.

Is that... clear enough?

When it is unclear what is causing a problem, it is better to create a single new thread than to start the same discussion is multiple places.

Based on my source code, it looks like Playlist Tree cannot know the value of Album Arts configuration setting for following by cursor. It's doesnt look like its something that can be fixed on the playlist tree side, aside from having a more easily accessible "send selection to album art" toggle that you can change when you change the value in album art...
