i currently have a project debut 3 phono SB but am considering replacing it with a more expensive one, the models that interest me are

Roksan Radius 5/nima
Clearaudio Emotion
Michell Gyro SE
Michell Tecnodec
and maybe a Stanton T-80 but the only reason im considering that is because of the optical out.

Has anyone used any of those decks and have anything to say about them? i would also be open to suggestions on the deck and phono amp (my amp has a phono stage but i would need one to connect it to my pc) . what sort of cost should i budget for the cartridge and phono amp?

Most preamps or integrated amps that contain a phono preamp section also have a tape loop I/O. The output of that is the proper route to your soundcard. This is the direct output of the phone preamp (or an out from any other input, depending on where the input selector switch is pointing).

i managed to forget all about this topic sorry, my current amp has an intergarted phono preamp and tape loop but i have been considering a new one anyway and many dont seem to have a phono amp now so thats why i am also wondering whats good and whats to be avoided.

after reading some reviews i think i will probably get either the clearaudio emotion or a Pro-Ject Xperience „SuperPack anyone used either of those decks and have any comments on them? the roksan also looks interesting but iirc its sold without a cartridge and once you add a good one its far more expensive than the clearaudio or pro-ject.
