Full Version: Request: Option for FLAC integrety verification

I dont access my FLAC archives often. But a nice feature with the discwriter / conversion would be to verify the FLAC files. I would imagine that since they are being decoded for the transcoding process it would be a very easy time to do this w/o additional overhead.

I would think that the fb2k FLAC decoder behaves in the same way as flac.exe which always checks the stream for errors during the decoding process, including checking the MD5 signature of the decoded audio matches the FLAC files internally stored MD5 signature. If an error is detected, then flac.exe exits with an exit code of 1 and displays a warning(even in silent mode).

Hopefully, but it would still be nice to have the option to have a report at the end, ie 3494 songs trancoded to MP3 from FLAC, 0 errors detected in FLAC files...

Any news on this one? I have to check a lot of live recordings in FLAC and SHN format and currently I have to switch between various programmes for listening and checking.

My any plugins available?
Eli
No word that Im aware of. It would be nice if this info was available and last check date column could be added.
