Hello,

I wanted to use EAC to rip a CD, but when retrieving the CD info from CDDB, it automatically downloads the wrong CD information, without letting me choose the correct one. It turns out that there is another CD with the same compilation of tracks, only it doesn't have the same name, artist etc. as my CD...
I also use Musicmatch jukebox, and it DOES find the right CD and lets me choose it.

I know I can fix the name of the album, artist etc manually, but I would still like to know:

Is there a way to make EAC find the right one? Or maybe a program that can find the right CD and then export the result to be useable in EAC?

Thanks!

That just means the data is probably wong in freedb. For the sake of everyone, submit the correct information to freedb in EAC. You can't "make EAC find the right one" in freedb. FYI: Musicmatch Jukebox does not use freedb.

The only way to alternatively "import" CD Information into EAC is via cdplayer.ini data, a local freedb database or the clipboard. Visit the EAC forum for more fun.
