Hello everyone!
I have bought few days ago a Samsung YP-U1Z; I like it and it plays flawlessly any ogg file....well, almost rolleyes.gif
I use the latest AoTuv encoder (as suggested on the forum) with the simple " -q4", nothing else.
Obtained Ogg files sound perfect on pc, but when I put them on the Samsung, everytime I hear a little noise at the end of each song and when I press "pause", like a light crackle. But If I encode the same files with the bundled software (Samsung media studio) that uses the old xiph 1.01, I don't ear any noise and the songs play flawless.
I want to use the latest versions of encoder, so what parameter I have to add to eliminate this noise?

Thanks in advance smile.gif

Bye, Massimo

p.s.: if anyone want to know anything about YP-U1Z, just ask!

all I can think of would be to mess with the advanced-encode-option(s) impulse_noisetune and impulse_trigger_profile.... but you shouln't have to use them, both versions should play fine huh.gif

maybe samsung would know what the cause is

It may be to do with the files not playing back gaplessly perhaps?
