Does anyone know if the Vorbis support of the iRiver IFP-799 has the old classic (by now) iRiver/Vorbis symptoms, of not being able to play below ~96 kbps?

I would be very greatful for any help on this. I've tried searching the forums but without finding anything.

Yes, the IFP-799 only supports ogg vorbis from 96 to 225 Kbps.
I have one, and from experience I can verify this.

I remember a friend of mine has found a modified firmware of the iRiver IFP-799 which lowering min bitrate down to 64 kbps. As fas as I can remember the mod worked ok.

Ok. Thanks for the verification. I was basically suspecting it would be in there with the rest of the iRivers, but i saw a good deal in town today, so I thought I'd better just check.
